I am very excited and happy to inform all devotees that the construction work at Sri Shankatahara Ganapathy temple has been completed at Vasundhara Enclave, East Delhi and its formal inauguration i.e. consecration ceremony (Maha Kumbabishekam) will take place on Sunday the 29th August, 2010 between 7.30-8.15am. 

 

You are cordially invited to attend the function and receive the blessings of Lord Ganesha.  Attached is a copy of invite for your ready reference.  

 

The temple has been constructed based on Cholas architecture method with a three layer tower (Rajagopuram) at the entrance of the temple consisting hundreds of mythological idols sculpted by a team of sculptors from South India. 

 

We expect the Chief Minister of Delhi and some BJP leaders to be present on the occasion.
