You are invited to view the special display of Dolls (Golu) from India at the temple, take part in the special poojas and listen to the classical music, bhajans and devotional songs every evening by local artists. |

Navarathri is here. And it is celeberation time at NEHTI with special pooja,homas and variety of singing. And very important is the display of Dolls (Golu) in the Temple Premises. Every evening classical music, bhajans and devotional songs have been arranged keeping with the tradition of Navarathri.
The festival of Navarathri is a 9 Night festival, last for 9 days with three days each devoted to worship Mad Durga, the Goddess of Valor, Ma Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth and Maa Saraswathi, the Goddess of Knowledge. During the nine days of Navarathri, feasting and fasting take precedence over all normal daily activities among Hindus. Evening give rise to the religious dances and music in order to worship and celebrate Navarathri.
